What's in the mirror is....... YOU!!

Every person, situation, circumstances and experiences in your life is a reflection of some aspect of who you beleive yourself to be. All difficult, challenging, painful experiences and relationships provide us with an opportunity to heal some part of our consciousness. Tapping the Power Within

When I read that the penny dropped! Is it really that simple? That's a pretty radical thing! It's actually very humbling when you think about it, some of the people in your life who you complain and moan about is a reflection of who you believe yourself to be! When you tell yourself your radical truth it really sets you free once you get the courage to make the necessary changes! I've learnt that I can choose or be forced to take a long hard look at how I am showing up in the world! I've learnt that compassion is an important element in being aware and letting go of judgement, its a tough one!

So what did I learn? This is an exerpt taken from the "Rules of Life" Cherie Carter Scott
Others are only mirrors of you. You love or hate something about another person according to what love or hate about yourself. Be tolerant; accept others as they are, and strive for clarity of self-awareness; strive to truly understand and have an objective perception of your own self, your thoughts and feelings. Negative experiences are opportunities to heal the wounds that you carry. Support others, and by doing so you support yourself. Where you are unable to support others it is a sign that you are not adequately attending to your own needs.
Peace!!!

  1. on point Captain Awesome...There are some persons that u don't like, because they really are not good persons or do terrible things, but for the most part, when u really analyze the thing, u are right...For eg. you might look at someone and dislike how they are so "up on the front page" or always circumventing procedures and other things...but this may just be their way of being assertive extroverts who think out of the box and are not restrained by the black or white rules that persons expect them to abide by. Actions of others that are disliked are often times, actions that u fail to do, due to your own fears or inadequacies....food for thought
