Here's why people are your greatest resource

Every time our unconscious is working something out, it calls into our lives the people who have within the pieces of the answer we are seeking. Martin Schulman

A Course in Miracles says there are no coincidences in life, every person that you meet, every circumstances that you encounter is designed for either teaching or learning. I now truly believe this.
How many "random" people have you met over time who have either become really great friends or your biggest teachers! People who particularly push your buttons, they come to teach you something, I've learnt to pay attention. Pay attention or miss the lesson and guess what? when you miss the lesson it keeps repeating and many times you make it harder than it is supposed to be!! Let go or be dragged!!
So what did I learn today?
Nurture and grow your relationships. People are your greatest resource. Make everyone your mentor and learn from everyone you know. Never question intent. You can question behaviour, but not intent. When you question intent, such as “You don’t care about me” or “You wanted to hurt me”, judging can destroy communication. Instead, focus on the behaviour, not the individual. Remember to give other people what you want – the benefit of the doubt, and remind yourself that “people always do the best they can with the resources they’ve got. Peace!!!

  1. Here Here Ako..I have a co-worker & at times I am pissed at this person's nonchalance, white lies, cut throat competitiveness & sly ways of circumventing procedures, but upon reflection I realized that each day I am wasting precious time concentrating on that peron. I need to just watch my back & proceed with what is important, my work & final output, because the persons job does not directly affect my end product...and as u said..observe the behaviour & learn from that, because when u really examine the thing, the person has good traits as well & lessons can be learned, I can also see this is a learning experience to be more street wise for others to come..nothing in life is perfect!
