What would you do if you were not afraid?

How do you react when you think you need people's love? Do you become a slave for their approval? Do you live an inauthentic life because you can't bear the thought that they might disapprove of you? Do you try to figure out how they would like you to be, and then try to become that, like a chameleon? In fact, you never really get their love. You turn into someone you aren't, and then when they say "I love you," you can't believe it, because they're loving a facade. They're loving someone who doesn't even exist, the person you're pretending to be. It's difficult to seek other people's love. It's deadly. In seeking it, you lose what is genuine. This is the prison we create for ourselves as we seek what we already have.”
―Byron Katie author

What would you do if you were not afraid? I have been thinking about this for the past few days. What would I say if I were not afraid? How would I respond if I were not afraid?

In every single aspect and part of my life.

I would tell the truth every single time about how I feel and what I need

I would show up as me every single time

I would respond with love

I would suspend all judgement

I would forgive

I would be grateful for everything

I would speak up

I would do my best in every task

So after three day of umming and ahhing and faffing around I did what I was supposed to do even though I was afraid! I still took action. It felt really liberating! I had to send an email to someone that I postponed for months because I fear, I just did it. Whatever happens I am proud of me

So I’m curious What would you do if you were not afraid?

Drop me a line and let me know

Peace!

Comments

  1. I would:
    - Give my honest opinion at all times, whether the comment is favourable or not

    - Explore different fields and not limit my potential

    - Be more relaxed and engaging when around other persons

-Just step out and do....how will I know if things are achievable unless I try!

-Be my authentic self & pull out the "me" that is inside & ready to be released!
