You Make Your Own Luck

 When someone says "You have to make your own luck" I really take it seriously. Luck has to involve preparation, it has to involve being ready, it has to involve showing up. Luck just does not happen by chance. It is a meshing of factors that allows us to take full advantage of the situations and opportunities that are placed in front of us.

 A big part of luck is our mindset of taking risks and believing in ourselves and what we want to do and achieve. If this is missing, opportunities will come and we may be either fearful of them or wait for that proverbial "sign"

So when someone tells me that I got lucky or I am lucky. I now say yes with a smile because I have been preparing, I have been putting in the work to shift from fear to love, I have been focusing on self love and self belief.
The luck shows up as soon as I show up!

  You save yourself energy when you learn to ask people what they need, instead of assuming you know best then acting on your own impulses. Allowing people to define what support looks like gives you an ability to assess if you have the capacity to show up - Minaa B If someone asks you right now, what does support look like to you, what would be your answer?   Optimism is usually defined as a belief that things will go well. But that's incomplete. Sensible optimism is a belief that the odds are in your favor, and over time things will balance out to a good outcome even if what happens in between is filled with misery.
