Beliefs demand loyalty

Beliefs demand loyalty. If you try to move away from the things you believe in, they will punish you. The belief will make you feel guilty. Guilt is your punushment for abandoning what you believe Iyanla Vanzant

Many of us  will go down fighting literally for what we believe. Don't get me wrong, I am not judging the choice to fight at all, I am merely making an observation.
We fight for what we believe in
We make it a point to stand in those beliefs.
My lesson has been balance.
What if those beliefs are not serving you anymore, not promoting your highest self?
When we question those beliefs we feel guilty
When we go against our beliefs in our actions we feel guilty.
The balance is in knowing what brings you peace and what is serving your highest self.
Question the beliefs when you are not at peace because usually when we are not at peace it means we must make another choice

What Beliefs Are You Loyal to?
Are they Punishing you?
Are you at peace?
Peace
