This world is a book

This world is a book and your soul is the title page. ~ Rumi
I have been doing quite a bit of introspection during this time, asking myself some questions which I would not normally ask, but this is not a normal time.
I came accross a reading from Hiro Boga that summed it up so well that I have shared it below
Forget handling your to-do list; how do you handle the weight of the world?
The thing is, the weight of the world is not yours to carry — at least, not all by yourself.
You are responsible for doing your part, for contributing, through your choices and actions, to the wholeness and healing of the world. But you are just one among many, many others who also work diligently towards this end. All you have to do is your part.
If you want to live in a world filled with kindness, love, safety, respect, creativity and compassion, then begin by cultivating those qualities in your inner kingdom first. As you embody them in your own life, you change your personal ecology, which then changes the world around you.
The only way to do this is to consciously engage. You can’t cultivate soul qualities by ignoring your feelings, or by transcending the rub of everyday life.

Whatever form your activism takes — whether it’s writing and speaking on behalf of social justice causes, community organizing, getting out the vote in your district, donating to support organizations that are doing the work on the ground, or something else — it will be far more effective when it’s grounded in your inner sovereignty and embodied truth.
